Bruce J. Polich, founder of the Mother Lode Restaurant, (Aspen, Colorado's infamous eatery - a community institution), is honored with the dedication of a community solar array in the Woody Creek area of the Roaring Fork Valley.  Mr. Polich was a nationally recognized journalist and advocate for free speech and the environment.  Dedication plaque shown above is permanently installed on-site.  Dedication of solar arrays is not a widely entertained practice and it is hoped that memory of Bruce J. Polich (passed from Covid, 2020) as a local community leader will spark interest for further dedications of community solar farms nationally.
